Mick Manning and Brita Granström have been making award-winning children’s books, as a double-act, for twenty years. Most recently they won the English Association Award 2014 with Charlie’s War Illustrated and have been shortlisted for both the 2013 and 2014 Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award, the largest children’s literature prize in the world. Other recent books include The Beatles and Nature Adventures. In addition to their collaborative book-work, Brita is an established painter in her own right and Mick exhibits prints with both St Judes Prints and Godfrey and Watt.
