Helen Kellock

Illustrator: class of 2019

Helen Kellock is an award-winning illustrator and writer based in Glasgow, Scotland. After studying Fine Art and English Literature as an undergraduate, she returned to the Glasgow School of Art to study a Masters in Illustration where she graduated in 2018 with a Distinction and the Chairman’s Medal for Design.

Helen is currently based in South Block studios where she is working on he second book. Her debut picture book, The Star in the Forest was published by Thames and Hudson in 2019.

Helen was named Picture Hooks Illustrator of the Year for the class of 2019.

Helen was mentored by Maisie Shearring.
